Keto is great for fat loss but if you wanna build muscle you must include complex carbohydrates to your diet.
So now you lost fat after following a Ketogenic diet and now its time to build muscle. Well, to build muscle you will need to start including carbs to your diet. Which is something I was refusing to do! I loved the keto lifestyle, bacon, cheese, peanut butter! It was heaven but I was training hard and not feeding the muscle enough protein.
Which lead me to crossover to the Figure division. After my placing I had alot of work to do to improve my physique. By including complex carbs to my diet, I was able to make gains.
In my 2nd show, I took the stage in March 2018 taking 3rd place. Proofing that having carbs calculated right for your body type will improve your body composition.
